Jan. 16, 2025:
Michael Stinson, 41, Roscoe
He lived on Hayloft in Roscoe. A complete obituary is planned.

Jan. 23, 2025:
Marjorie Ramirez, 83, Roscoe
She went to Kinnikinnick. After she retired, she worked alongside her daughters at the Appleicious Pie Depot.

Jan. 24, 2025:
Dee Ott, 81, Rockton
She coordinated the National Day of Prayer in Rockton for more than 25 years and led Bible studies and prayer groups in her home for decades.

Jan. 26, 2025:
Ernest L. Burge, 77, Roscoe
An avid birdwatcher, hiker, and car-lover, he found joy in his family and in life’s simple pleasures.

Jan. 28, 2025:
Joshua Atz, 43, South Beloit
For over 30 years, he was a dedicated member and member of Hope Church, where he met his wife when they were teenagers. He worked for Rockton Township from 2016 to 2025, eventually becoming foreman.

Jan. 30, 2025:
Linda Burns, 68, Roscoe
The first in her family to go to college, she led over 100 team members at Frito-Lay and managed the largest Compressed Natural Gas site in the corporation.

Jan. 31, 2025:
Betty Weeks, 70, Roscoe
She enjoyed quilting, painting, cooking, baking, fishing, landscaping, playing with her dogs, and bird watching. She could spot an eagle miles away.
