Dec. 23, 2024:
Delbert Scott, 87, Rockton
For over 40 years, he was Shipping Receiving Supervisor at Warner Lambert. He enjoyed building and flying radio controlled airplanes.
Dec. 28, 2024:
Delores Trost, 83, Roscoe
She became vice president of operations for investment banking firm Alex. Brown. She then opened Crafters Mall with her daughter.
Dec. 31, 2024:
Larry Barr, 82, Roscoe
He loved simple pleasures: a hearty bowl of chili, a juicy hamburger with mustard and onions, fresh cauliflower, homemade cheesecake, and quality boots.
Jan. 2, 2025:
Michelle Zarnick, 42, Roscoe
A gifted photographer, she worked as a human resources consultant and a equine veterinarian technician.
Jim Deeds, 82, Roscoe
In 1984, Jim purchased the Bendix Tool & Die Division, later renaming it Besly Corporation. He played several musical instruments and served as treasurer for the Rotary Club of Beloit and Plymouth United Methodist Church, and was on the YMCA board of directors.
Dorothy Weaver, 93, South Beloit
She worked at Ace Hardware for over three decades but her greatest joy was her home.
