Mar. 21, 2026:
David G. Shwaiko, 72, South Beloit
A high school athlete and lifelong conservationist, he hitchhiked throughout the US and Europe before becoming a supervisor at a wood plant in Oregon.

David L. Hathaway, 64, Rockton
His career in the paper industry brought him to Beloit. Always a dog lover, he brought a childlike energy and enthusiasm to every adventure. He was renowned for his grilling skills. The world will be quieter and a little less fun without him.

Mar. 26, 2026:
Antoinette T. Gulotta, 91, Roscoe
She dedicated much of her life to volunteering. For more than 20 years, she worked part-time at Chas. V. Weise/Bergner’s department store.

Mar. 27, 2026:
Arthur W. Brown, 77, Rockton
An Army veteran, he worked at Singer and Elgin Health Facilities for many years. He was a life long member of The Rockford Amateur Astronomers.
