Lester Dunkel, Paul Russell, Richard Wilson, Jake Windsor

With sadness, we announce the following deaths for Rockton, Roscoe, and South Beloit in recent weeks:

Lester R. Dunkel, 61, South Beloit
He was a avid bowler in his later years and loved working with his hands.

July 3, 2025:
Paul J. Russell, 71, Rockton
A natural salesman, he always had a seat at Crazy Times Pub. From coaching his kids to his passion for fantasy football, he lived life with gusto.

July 5, 2025:
Richard D. Wilson, 72, Rockton
At Hononegah, he was All-State in football with a full basketball scholarship at Bucknell University. Relocating to Florida, he founded Wilson Structural Consultants.

July 9, 2025:
Jake Windsor, 50, South Beloit
A 1993 graduate of South Beloit High School, he enjoyed hunting, trapping, and fishing. He wore his heart on his sleeve and lit up the room when he entered.
