Arrie Brubaker, Fred Dunaway, Catherine Goetler, Fred Goetler

With sadness, we announce the following deaths for Rockton, Roscoe, and South Beloit in recent weeks:

July 12, 2025:
Fred L. Dunaway, 78, South Beloit
He lived on Springfield Avenue. His wishes were not to have a funeral or any other benefit.

July 26, 2025:
Frederick B. Goetler, 89, Rockton
After the Air Force, he worked at Woodward for 33 years. He once bowled a perfect 300. His wife Catherine outlived him by only four days.

July 30, 2025:
Catherine M. Goetler, 88, Rockton
She nurtured her family with the same dedication and detail she poured into her beautiful ceramics and porcelain dolls. She also volunteered as a Blue Bird and with Meals on Wheels.

August 4, 2025:
Arrie J. Brubaker, 73, Roscoe
A talented seamstress and quilt maker, she owned and managed a former Singer store. She was a 1971 Hononegah High School graduate. She proudly took care of many family members.
