Cruise Night at Historic Attractions Museum
Vintage car-lovers kicked off the first Cruise Night of the season at Historic Attractions Museum in Roscoe, Illinois.

Vintage car-lovers kicked off the first Cruise Night of the season at Historic Attractions Museum in Roscoe. Visitors had the opportunity to visit the museum, listen to music from the 70's and 80's, and grab a bite to eat.



Cruise Night is a specialty car-lovers occasion throughout the summer months in the state-line area. One of the largest and most popular Cruise Night is on the grounds of Historic Attractions Museum, 13825 Metric Drive in Roscoe, IL.
May 14 was the first car show of the season. Hundreds of visitors strolled up and down the parking area at the museum, checking out dozens of antique and vintage vehicles.
Hits DJ host Joe Locke provided music, prizes and give-aways. Food and beverages were available, while some visitors brought their own picnic supper.
The Historic Attractions Museum was open to all at a $5.00 reduction during Cruise Nights.
More Cruise Nights on the museum grounds are scheduled for Wednesday evenings, 5:00 - 8:00 pm throughout the summer: June 11, July 9, August 13 and September 10.
Historic Attractions Museum and nearby Lefthander Chassis are owned by Wayne Lensing. Alex Merry is the director of the museum. The huge 85,000 sq ft building is filled with much more than cars. Visiting the museum is a stroll through the past. The unique and authentic collections peel back hundreds of years of history. The museum is open Tuesday and Thursday, 10:00 am - 5:00 pm, Friday and Saturday, 10:00 am - 6:00 pm and Sunday 10:00 -5:00 pm. Closed on Mondays.
