“The PFL is excited to kick off the new Bellator Champions Series this March in Belfast,” said James Frewin, SVP International at PFL. “Along with our great partner DAZN we look forward to giving MMA fans a premium experience through the PFL’s eight Bellator Champions Series events.”
Bellator held an astounding 301 events prior to PFL’s acquisition of the U.S. based promotion in November of 2023, building a recognized worldwide roster of elite homegrown talent throughout the entire MMA industry. A large part of this was a commitment to investing in athletes from regions where Bellator frequently held cards, in addition to bringing global stars to compete in front of those same audiences. Expect this to continue with the Bellator Champions Series taking place in marquee locations like Belfast, Dublin, Paris, London, amongst others in 2024.
