Colton Rohs was unselfishly generous
A celebration of life and memorial will be announced later.
Colton Charles Rohs graduated from Hononegah High School in 2016. He worked various jobs, most recently as a social worker providing support to individuals with mental health issues.
He passed away peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at the age of 24.
Colton was born in Rockford, IL on March 5, 1998. Growing up, Colton enjoyed fishing with his Grandpa Rohs at Lake Geneva. He also loved music and played guitar in a band in high school. An avid fan of history, he was a wealth of knowledge on so many different topics.

Colton was a very kind and accepting individual. He never seemed to be able to get ahead due to his unselfish generosity. He touched so many lives. Though his time on earth was brief, he will live on forever in the hearts of everyone he loved and who loved him.
He is survived by his loving parents Curt and Teri; brothers Chris (Angel) and Collin; sister Courtney (fiancé Tony); nieces Arianna and Emma; grandmother Caryl Rohs; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Colton is predeceased by his grandfather Louis Rohs and grandmother Patricia Taylor.
The family will hold a private service. A public celebration of life and memorial in Colton’s name will be established at a later date.
