Carnival rides, games, and food at Fall Festival
Rides and booths are being set up for a busy three days in Roscoe's Leland Park.
DRS Skinner Amusements is moving into Leland Park in Roscoe, Illinois. Rides are being set up, food and game booths are preparing for a busy three days: September 8, 9, and 10 at Roscoe Lions Club Fall Festival 2023.
The family-owned business was founded by George Skinner in Crystal Lake, IL and has been in operation since 1910.
Doug and Renata Skinner are owners of the business today. They are located in Garden Prairie, IL.
DRS Skinner Amusements is presently one of the few amusement companies in operation in the Midwest.
They are bringing a mix of family friendly rides and thrill rides, including the Zipper and the Slide, lots of games for all ages, and of course, carnival food.
What’s a carnival without cotton candy, as well as popcorn, corn dogs, pizza, funnel cakes and snow-cones? They’ll all be available throughout the festival.
Kid’s Day is Saturday, September 9, 12-4 p.m. For $25, wristbands can be purchased, good for four hours on all rides. Wristbands go on sale in the Midway at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, following the Kiddie Parade at 10:00 a.m.
The Roscoe Lions Club collection box for used eyeglasses donations will be located on the festival grounds.
