Bridget Paulick (1930-2022) was born in Ireland and devoted to her faith
Visitation and mass will be Wednesday morning, April 20, with burial in the afternoon.
Bridget Bernadette Paulick (Daly) passed away peacefully on April 13, 2022. She was born on December 1, 1930 in Cappacur, Ireland, about an hour from Galway or Limerick. She was one of ten children and a small-town farm girl. She did her nursing training in England and continued her nursing career in the United States when she came to Baltimore, MD. She moved to the Chicago area to be with family and that is when she met her husband, Eugene who predeceased her in September of 2017. Together, they had five children. Bridget stayed home to raise their children. She eventually went back to nursing. Bridget enjoyed gardening, baking, taking care of her family and most of all she was devoted to the Lord, Mother Mary and her Catholic faith. She was often seen going to bed carrying her rosary to pray. She was a long-time member of Holy Ghost Parish in Wood Dale, IL and St. Peter Catholic Church in South Beloit, IL.
Those left to cherish her memories are her children, Thomas Paulick; MaryAnn (Mark) Romanelli, John (Kathy) Paulick, Paul Paulick, Joan (Steve) Schutz; her beloved grandchildren, Tori (Matt), Alex (Mitch), Sean (Kamila), Katrina, James, Christopher, Teresa; great grandchildren, Alex and Mason; brother, Jim Daly; and several nieces; nephews; and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband, Eugene Paulick; eight siblings; and her sister-in-law, Nora Daly. Mom was loved and will be missed by many. May she rest in peace.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 20, 2022 in St. Peter Catholic Church, 620 Blackhawk Blvd., South Beloit, with a visitation from 10:00 AM until time of mass. Burial will be held at 2:00 PM in Willowbrook Cemetery, 12962 Willowbrook Road, Roscoe.
