Van fire in Rockton, no injuries
The vehicle was a total loss, but no one was injured.
When Rockton firefighters arrived at this vehicle fire around 5:45 p.m. on Friday, Mar. 3, 2023, the van was already "fully involved" - engulfed in flames. Firefighters quickly brought the fire under control in the 11000 block of Gummow Road west of Rockton. No one was injured, but unfortunately, the vehicle was a total loss. The Winnebago County Sheriff's Office was on the scene as well. The fire remains under investigation.
